# Build a website in the "Andalus" style
You are building a production-ready website. Follow the design system below exactly and adapt the content to the project. The design comes from the Qalib library (design No. 001).
## 1. The project
- Name: [fill in]
- Type of site: [fill in]
- What it does: [fill in]
- Languages: Arabic and English: Arabic first (RTL) and a full English version (LTR) with a language switch
- Pages: One page with sections and anchor links
- Contact details: [fill in]
- Assets: No photos yet: use suitable placeholders and mark each one TODO for replacement.
## 2. Visual reference
- Live demo (Arabic): https://qalib.omardeek.tech/demos/andalus/ar.html
- Live demo (English): https://qalib.omardeek.tech/demos/andalus/en.html
Each demo is one HTML file with all its CSS in a <style> tag. Download the raw file (for example `curl -s <url>`), not a summary of it, and treat its CSS as the source of truth for spacing, sizes and effects. The demo's business and text are fictional: never copy them.
## 3. Design DNA: Classic
Calm and assured: serif type, symmetrical compositions, hairline rules and small ornaments. For businesses that want to look established and trustworthy.
- **Typography:** High-contrast serif headings set large, a readable serif for text, and small letter-spaced capitals for eyebrows (Latin only).
- **Colour:** Ivory or paper background, warm dark ink, one deep accent (burgundy, navy or forest green) and a muted gold for rules.
- **Layout:** Centred sections with a restrained measure, generous spacing, centred headings and at most two-column grids.
- **Shapes:** Square corners, thin double frames around images and cards, rectangular buttons with hairline borders.
- **Imagery:** Warm, naturally lit photographs inside a framed mat (passe-partout).
- **Motion:** Only soft fade-ins on scroll; nothing flashy.
- **Details:** Small fleuron dividers (❦) between sections, old-style numerals, italic signatures.
- **Avoid:** Gradients, large shadows, rounded corners, saturated colours.
**This design in particular:** Ivory, burgundy and muted gold, a dotted-leader menu and small ornaments.

}
```
- Latin headings: Cormorant Garamond (400, 500, 600, 700)
- Latin text: EB Garamond (400, 600)
- Type scale: h1: clamp(2.7rem, 6.2vw, 5.4rem) · h2: clamp(2rem, 4.2vw, 3.3rem) · h3: 1.25rem · text: 17px with 1.7 line height (Arabic 18px and 1.9) · max width 1200px · section spacing clamp(72px, 10vw, 136px)
## 5. Page structure
The demo shows a Restaurant. Build the sections with these visual treatments, in this order:
1. **Header**: The logo centred on top with the links in a row beneath it, like a masthead; the call-to-action sits at the end.
2. **Hero**: Headline, lead and buttons centred inside a decorative frame, with a wide photo underneath.
3. **Running text band**: a band of short words running continuously sideways
4. **About** «Our story»: A large centred quote with a signature, then the heading and paragraphs in two columns, then a strip of two photos.
5. **Main offering** «The menu»: a menu in groups, each item with a dotted leader running to its price
6. **Figures**: a row of four numbers with labels
7. **Gallery** «The place»: a photo grid with one large tile and captions on the photos
8. **Testimonials** «Kind words»: one large centred testimonial at a time, rotating every few seconds, with dots
9. **Call to action** «Planning a gathering?»: a full-width coloured band with a heading, a line of text and a button
10. **Contact** «Visit us»: Two columns: heading, text and address/phone/email with icons; a panel with opening hours and a WhatsApp button.
11. **Footer**: four columns (brand and tagline, page links, contact, social) and a bottom bar
## 6. Motion
Subtle: elements fade up about 24px as they enter, staggered by 70ms; light lifts on hover.
**Decorations in this design:**
- small ornamental dividers between sections: a classical fleuron with hairlines
## 7. Technical requirements
- **Stack:** Choose the stack that fits the project; prefer static HTML, CSS and JavaScript unless it needs more.
- Semantic HTML, mobile first, adapting at 360, 768, 1024 and 1440px, with no horizontal scrolling.
- Arabic: <html lang="ar" dir="rtl">, CSS logical properties (margin-inline-start, inset-inline-end…), mirrored directional icons, never letter-space or uppercase Arabic, and Arabic text at 18px or more.
- Accessibility: WCAG AA contrast, visible focus states, alt text on images, and all motion off under prefers-reduced-motion.
- Performance: self-hosted fonts with font-display: swap and only the weights and subsets in use, WebP or AVIF images with set dimensions, lazy loading below the first screen, and no heavy libraries for simple effects.
- SEO: a title and description for every page, Open Graph, a favicon, and LocalBusiness structured data where relevant.
- Buttons: WhatsApp links as https://wa.me/<number>, phone as tel:, email as mailto:.
## 8. Delivery
1. Start with the tokens and base styles, then build the sections from top to bottom.
2. Compare the result with the live demo at phone and desktop widths before you finish.
3. Finish with how to run the site and how to deploy it.
Paste it into Claude Code inside a new project folder.
Navy on cream paper, a sober numbered list and a quiet contact form.
Midnight navy and gold, a full-screen photo and Roman capitals.
Old parchment, oxblood and Ruqaa script, a music school like a venerable conservatoire: lessons in framed cards and the director's word in columns.
Charcoal, cream and sage, an art house with a wide photo under a centred title and each exhibition in a quiet card.
Blush, pistachio and cocoa, an elegant frame around the title like a French shopfront.
Ivory, deep green and soft gold, like a letterpress invitation: a double frame, fleurons and the day's programme set in serif.
Warm paper and deep plum, high-contrast Bodoni headings, and the bouquets in framed cards like pressed flowers in an old album.
Navy and gold on ivory, a dive centre with a nautical air: a panoramic photo under a centred headline and courses in alternating rows like a ship's log.
Coffee brown and gold, a bookshop like an old literary salon: titles in a dotted list, one reader's word at a time and a hairline frame around every photo.
Quiet green and gold on cool paper, like an old country vet's practice: clear text, numbered steps for the first visit and reviews in cards.
Dark brown, ivory and chiselled Cinzel capitals, a classic-car workshop like an old coachbuilder: restored cars on a mixed wall and each service in a framed card.
